Internships and Theses at BNITM

Internships, Bachelor's, Master's or medical dissertations / doctoral Theses are possible in many areas of our institute. However, we ask for your understanding that due to the space and personnel limits it is not always possible to find  a placement for every applicant.

Important notes for interns
• Since  the Bernhard Nocht Institute works mainly with pathogens and often also with radioactive substances, interns should already have some laboratory experience and be of  legal age.
• For underage students internships in the laboratory sector are unfortunately not possible  due to health and safety regulations.
• Laboratory internships should last at least six weeks.
